Privacy Notice

Last updated: 2026.

Short version

This website itself does not collect, store, or process any personal data about its visitors. There are no cookies, no analytics, no third-party trackers, no embedded third-party resources, and no contact forms. The site is fully static HTML and CSS, with no JavaScript, server-side processing, or database. The only exception is basic technical logging carried out independently by our hosting provider, described below.

How this site works

  • No cookies are set by this site.
  • No analytics or tracking scripts are loaded, from us or any third party.
  • No fonts, scripts, images, or other resources are loaded from third-party domains.
  • There is no contact form; the only way to reach us is the mailto link on the Contact page, which opens your own email client.
  • Any information you choose to send by email is handled directly between you and Adam White, using your own email provider, and is not collected or processed by this website.

Hosting and server logs

This site is hosted as static files on services such as GitHub Pages and/or Cloudflare Pages. Those hosting providers may, as a normal part of operating their infrastructure, record basic technical information (such as IP address, requested URL, and timestamp) in server logs, independent of anything this website itself does. Birchfield Solutions does not have access to, and does not process, any such logs. Please refer to your chosen hosting provider's own privacy documentation for details of how they handle this information.

GDPR and data protection

Because this website itself does not collect or process personal data beyond the hosting-provider logging described above, most UK GDPR and EU GDPR obligations relating to active website data collection (such as forms, accounts, or tracking) do not apply to it in the way they would to a site that includes those features. This notice is provided in good faith to describe how the site actually behaves, but it is not legal advice and is not a guarantee of compliance with any specific law or regulation in every jurisdiction. If you have a specific data protection question, please seek independent legal advice or contact us directly.
